Primary Do Over

After last night's debate it is more than clear that neither Obama or McCain is capable of handling this nation's economic crisis.

OK. Let's admit it. We, as a collective, voted for the wrong guy during our respective primaries. Susan Estrich agrees:

Politico called it the worst debate ever. I can’t disagree. Frankly, I haven’t seen one that even came close. Two substantial men, and by the end of it (OK, close to the end), everyone watching with me in the hotel lobby was wondering how either of these guys managed to win his party’s nomination.

Socialism, which is what both campaigns are calling for, is not the answer.

So, I'm calling for a Primary Do Over.

Dems - you vote for Hillary.

Reps - we vote for Mitt.

Then, maybe, just maybe, we, as a collective, have a chance.
